President and Manager
The Honorable Dr. Chardale Rochelle Murray-Kornickey was born November 29, 1975. She is the daughter of Lorraine Murray and Charlie Murray, Sr. She graduated from Baptist Hill High School and Talladega College. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a member of Henrietta B. White Temple #1342. Chardale is a member of First Baptist Church of James Island. She was the manager of Harleston-Boags Funeral home for three years. In March of 2000, she passed the state’s licensing test to become one of the youngest funeral directors. When Chardale was in middle school, she had what she considers a vision from God. The Lord told her to be a mortician. Mrs. Murray also holds the prestige title of being The First African American Woman to be The State Representative for District 116
Charlie Murray, Jr.
Charlie Murray was born to Mr. Charlie Murray, Sr. and Mrs. Lorraine Murray August 18, 1981. At an early age, he developed a passion for music and served as a musician for various local churches. Upon graduation from Middleton High School, Murray attended Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA where is successfully attained a degree in Funeral Service and passed The National Board of Funeral Director and Embalmer. While employed by Sellers-Smith Funeral Home in Newnan, GA, he also passed the Georgia State Board of funeral Service. Currently he serves as a the pastor of First Baptist Church of James Island. he's also a member of Royal Baptist Church, N.F.D.A, Brothers and Sisters United for Change, N.A.A.C.P., and Boaz Lodge #309 F. & A.M.
Grippon A. Boags

Former owner of the historic and prestigious Harleston-Boags Funeral Home once located in downtown Charleston, SC, Mr. Boags is now a member of the Murray's Mortuary team.
Melvin Howard, III
Funeral Director Apprentice
Melvin Howard, III was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He is a graduate of North Charleston High School. Melvin is a 2010 graduate of Morris College with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He joined Murray's Mortuary in 2015.
Funeral Director & Embalmer Apprentice
Miracle Randall was raised in Jacksonboro, SC. She graduated from Colleton County high school in 2015. Miracle received her Associates Degrees at Gupton- Jones College of Funeral Service September 2017. She joined Murray's Mortuary in 2017.
Lorenzo Johnson born and raised in North Charleston, SC. He graduated from North Charleston High School. He joined Murray's Mortuary in 2010.
