Mr. Nathaniel Green Sr., son of the late Frank Green Sr. and Rebecca Washington-Green was born on October 29, 1961. He received his heavenly wings on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 8:20 pm.

Nathaniel was educated in the public schools of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He grew up in the Snowden Community. Later he decided to relocate to Mount Vernon New York where he worked as a mechanic until he was injured. He returned home to South Carolina on June 7, 2024, to be supported and surrounded by his family. He was known for his jokes, laughter, dancing, singing, and always had a story to tell.

Nathaniel leaves to cherish his fond memories his children Tammy Green (Lance), Nathaniel Green Jr, Tappia Green, Neffaterrie Green (Jarrell), Teeyahanna Green, Teasha Green, Tanell Green, Minister Benjamin Green (Veronica), and Tara Green. Siblings: Fletcher Washington (Patricia), Johnnie Mae Ellis (Robert Sr.), Frank Green, Evonne Green (David), Timothy Green, Carol Green-Gilliard (James Jr.), and Shelia Green. Twenty grandchildren, two great grandsons. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an Aunt Virginia Mae Washington, special niece and caregiver Ashana Green-Lajeunesse, devoted community friends Wesley Grant, Willie Cummings, Timothy Habersham, Mark Smalls, and Thomas Jenkins. A special friend Ann Wade (West Virginia).
