In Loving Memory of

John Glenn Vinson, age 74, of Albany, Georgia, passed away on October 25, 2026.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, John was the son of the late Oscar Vinson and Evelyn Gibbs Vinson. He proudly served and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and dedicated 31 years of service as a civilian employee, working as a mechanic at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and The Defense Distribution Center in Albany, GA before retiring.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Evelyn Vinson, and his brothers, Oscar Jr. and David Nathaniel Vinson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Vermell, Ruth, Gloria Jean, Rebecca, Jacqueline, Joseph Floyd, Carolyn, Preston, and Mary
