James L. Crawford, Jr, age 44, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2026. His sudden and tragic passing has left his family in profound shock and deep sadness. James was a beloved son and brother, with a jovial laugh and kind heart. James is an alumnus of South Carolina State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. A memorial service will be held on Sat, Aug 29th, 2026 at Murray's Mortuary to celebrate and honor his life as well as a second memorial service at a later date in September 2026, in the Atlanta, GA metro area (additional details to follow).

James is survived by his mother, Cathie Crawford and sisters, Meredith Crawford, Crystal Crawford, and Lori Crawford, along with many aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father James L. Crawford, Sr, maternal grandparents, Marie Young and Louis Richardson, and paternal grandparents Beatrice Zellars and James H. Crawford.
