Mrs. Frances W. Anderson, 90, of Goose Creek, S.C., entered into Eternal rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Mrs. Anderson will Lie In State for viewing at the church from 10:00am to 11:00am, the start time of the service. There will not be a final viewing at the end of the service.

On September 12, 1935, in the Sampit Community of Georgetown, South Carolina the

late Sue and Sollie Williams, parents of eleven children, were blessed with the birth of

their eighth child, a beau􀆟ful baby girl, Frances Williams.

Frances a􀆩ended elementary and high school in Georgetown, gradua􀆟ng from Rosemary

High School where she met her future husband, Eddie Anderson, Jr. A􀅌er gradua􀆟on

Frances moved to Philadelphia, staying with her brother and his wife, where she

a􀆩ended school to become a nurse. All the while, maintaining long distance love with

Eddie. Eddie and Frances kept in close contact as Eddie started his career in the Air

Force. They finally united in holy matrimony on April 10, 1959, and through this union

they gave birth to two children: Jacqueline and Adrian. The family traveled to many parts

of the world before se􀆩ling in Charleston, SC.

Ms. Frances worked in Civil Service while making sure that her family adapted to life in

Charleston. She worked for and re􀆟red from the Department of the Air Force as a Supply

Supervisor. Ms. Frances was an Eastern Star and ac􀆟ve in her community. Ms. Frances

was a devoted member of Mount Moriah, serving du􀆟fully alongside her husband as a

Deaconess. She also served faithfully as the Women’s Missionary Union Director, Bap􀆟st

Women President, along with numerous other roles within the Women’s Missionary

Union.

Deaconess Frances Anderson was a gi􀅌ed seamstress, and an avid lover of needlework

and other arts and cra􀅌s. She enjoyed reading and never missed an opportunity to learn

something new and was always a􀆩emp􀆟ng to keep up with ever changing technology.

She loved all children and especially her many nieces and nephews and tried to keep up

with all of them even as they became adults. She was a loving and devoted wife and an

excep􀆟onal, loving, and fiercely protec􀆟ve mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother.

Deaconess Frances Anderson will join her loving husband, Deacon Eddie Anderson, in

their heavenly home. She will also be joining her ten brothers and sisters whom she

adored and loved.
