Mrs. Faye Marie Grant (60) is the daughter of the late Ms. Gladys Anna- Mae Rivers and Mr. Arthur English of Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on March 8th, 1964.
Faye, received her education in the public schools of South Carolina. She attended Columbus Street Elementary School, Courtney Middle School, then graduated from C.A Brown in 1982. Faye, was blessed with nine siblings, Tyrone Rivers, Sinclair Rivers(Diane), Sandra Cousins (Calvin), Michael Rivers, Fredricka Blue (Anthony), Anthony Green, Donna Cato, and Theresa Sander who preceded her in death.

Faye, was employed at the Holiday Inn Riverview as a server for many years. When that ended she became employed with the  Medical University of SC as a Dietary Aid.
Her bubbly personality and smile made her a favorite of everyone she encountered. Faye, enjoyed playing puzzle games on her tablet, watching television, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

In March of 2015, Faye entered into holy matrimony to Shawn Grant, they don't share any children but created a perfect blended family. About two years ago Faye became ill and was unable to continue to work. But through it all she continued to smile and strengthen her bond with Christ. In her final days here on this earth she expressed that she was not scared and everything was well with her and God. Faye, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

To cherish her memories she leaves behind, her loving husband Shawn Grant; her daughters Nakesha and Claire Rivers; Montrell Q, Grant (stepson). Her grandchildren Diontae and Bella'shay; parents in-law; Mr. Willie & Mozella Grant; sister in-law; Denise Grant-Pinckney, Brothers & Sisters (listed above). And a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
